Production Test Architecture For Military MMIC And RFIC Devices

Discover The Projects

A defense RF semiconductor manufacturer needed a production-grade test infrastructure for characterizing and testing MMIC/RFIC devices for military applications. There was no foundational test architecture; everything had to be built from scratch and progressively expanded.

Good Automation built the foundational LabVIEW test architecture, then over 5 years progressively added S-parameter characterization, gain compression testing, pulsed signal measurement, device performance binning algorithms, a test data storage/retrieval database, and a production test software framework. The platform supported both engineering characterization and production test workflows.
