Selected Software And Data Engagements

Discover The Projects

Not every Good Automation engagement is rooted in test instrumentation or regulated hardware. Some clients come in with a pure software or data scope: a web application, an algorithm port, a research consult, a language-model analysis. The clients below are five such engagements, each tightly scoped and discrete.

Good Automation engaged each client on the software scope as they framed it: an early book recommendation marketplace web application; an early port of LabVIEW algorithms to CUDA, an application of GPU parallel processing predating the AI and cryptocurrency boom; AI language model analysis supporting a UK custom translation company validating identity and citizenship documents for incoming immigrants; and technical product development consulting for a global nonprofit for entrepreneurs and an engineering services firm. Five different software contexts, one consistent posture: scope tight, finish cleanly, leave honest code behind.

UK Translation Services Company

For UK Translation Services Company: Performed AI language model analysis to support a UK-based custom translation company providing document translation and validation for immigrants entering the UK to establish provenance of identity and citizenship.

GPU Computing Client

For GPU Computing Client: Ported LabVIEW algorithms to CUDA for GPU computing acceleration, an early application of GPU parallel processing predating the widespread adoption of GPU computing driven by AI and cryptocurrency.

Technical product development engineering support services

For Global Nonprofit for Entrepreneurs: Provided engineering support services for the client, supporting their technical product development and test requirements.

Engineering product development technical consulting

For Engineering Services Company: Provided technical consulting services for the client, supporting their engineering and product development needs.

Book recommendation marketplace platform web application

For Online Marketplace Startup: Developed the initial website and online marketplace platform for curated book recommendations.

Project Highlights

  • Multi-project engagement spanning 5 distinct deliveries for a single customer, a relationship built on repeat work and not one-off scopes.
  • Capability mix: web app.
  • Software-only scope, but engineered with the same discipline we apply to regulated and mission-critical work: clear architecture, honest interfaces, and code that survives handoff.
